Hosting & Delivery

Microsites can be served in one of two ways:

Hosted

Your microsite is served from our high capacity, load-balanced web cluster, part of our HostingCore service. This is a fully managed solution that requires no technical infrastructure or staff on your behalf.

Delivered

Content is delivered to your servers using your preferred Internet protocol. This method of delivery is more suited if you have your own technical infrastructure and want a greater level of control over how the microsite is served and integrated with other content.

Interactive Features

For an even more interactive microsite user experience, we offer a range of competitions & games designed to encourage repeat visits and drive page impressions.

Fantasy Games

Players choose a fantasy team from the players and over a series of game rounds score points based on the performance of their players during the event. The overall winner of the game is the player who at the end of the event has scored the most points.

Sticker Book Competition

'Sticker' images appear throughout the microsite. Each sticker features an image of a person within the tournament. Players collect stickers and add them to their album. The aim of the game is to collect all the stickers required to complete the album.

Predictor Competition

Players begin the competition with an allocation of points. Each day, the players gamble points against the final outcome and the score of matches. Points are won and lost based on the accuracy of a player's predictions. The winner of the competition is the person with the most points after the final match.

Forums

Discussion forums allow users to discuss the ongoing event.

Polls

Regularly updated polls allow users to vote on topical issues.
